Create a fractionalized NFT collection on SZNS with out-of-the-box governance tools.

We are thrilled to announce the public beta launch of SZNS. Now, anyone can create an NFT Collection on SZNS with out-of-the-box governance tools.

SZNS Collections allow for powerful shared ownership. With this launch, we want to empower you to build the next generation of NFT collections around a community.

It’s Fraction SZN

Now, you can fractionalize your NFTs in a SZNS Collection and sell the tokens and—with them—the ownership of your NFTs. We call this type of Collection Fraction SZN.

Unlike other fractionalization platforms, SZNS has plug-and-play governance tools, called Standard Proposals. You can use Standard Proposals to propose, vote on, and execute common DAO actions. With just a few clicks, you can

1. Add NFTs to the Collection,

2. Create a bounty for desired NFTs,

3. List NFTs for sale on OpenSea,

4. Transfer ETH or NFTs to holders, or

5. Distribute WETH proportionally to holders.

The power of SZNS Collections goes beyond Standard Proposals. With Custom Proposals, you can propose any smart contract transaction. Once passed through governance, the proposed transaction will be executed directly on-chain. The possibilities are endless.

How to create a SZNS Collection

To create a SZNS Collection, you simply

1. Go to our Collection Creation page on szns.io.

2. Select the NFTs that you want to put in the collection, and

3. Set up the supply and price of the Collection token.

Optionally, you can choose to create a collection without any NFTs as a blank slate, which we call DAO SZN. This empty Collection allows anyone to launch a DAO quickly with no code, governed via the Collection Tokens. You can distribute the tokens directly on SZNS or use a third party like Sushi’s Miso to distribute the governance tokens of the Collection. Now, it is up to you and your Collection members to decide the future of your collection.

What you can create on SZNS

The sky is the limit with what kind of NFT Collection you can create on SZNS. To kickstart your ideas, here are classic types of NFT collections that you can create on SZNS:

1. Thematic collections

   Create a collection based on an NFT project, like Bored Apes, or based on an artistic theme, like historical art.

   Examples: MeebitsDAO Pool has over 90 Meebits. The Leonidas Museum is a collection of historically significant NFTs.

2. High-value NFTs

   Fractionalize your high-value NFTs for people to own 

   Examples: Chingona has CloneX #13727, estimated to be over 20 ETH.

3. Community-driven collections

   Create a community. Pursue common goals.

   Example: ArtDAO is a community of Lisbon-based artists who support each other’s work. FlamingoDAO is a DAO of people passionate about collecting NFTs.

4. Event collections

   Create tokens to raffle off for an event.

   Example: For DappCon Berlin next week, the SZNS team will raffle off $DAPP22 tokens for the Dappcon2022 Collection, created just for the attendees of the conference.

5. Curatorial collections

   Curate your own NFT Collection. Express yourself through your curation.

   Example: DCInvestor has an NFT collection that is uniquely his.

The possibilities are truly limitless.
