Collection Highlights
ArtDAO (collection, Twitter) is a Lisbon-based group of artists. They use SZNS to collectively buy art from up-and-coming artists in the Lisbon art scene. Not only do they support each others’ work, but the collection and its token holders also get the upside when the artwork of any individual artist gets sold. It is incredible to see SZNS used by artists to support each other, even artists who were previously unfamiliar with web3.
Year of the Banner (collection) was created by prsn as a thesis-driven collection. A banner NFT is landscape art that people can use as their profile banner, an untapped part of the profile “real estate”. Existing holders of banner NFTs can swap their NFT for $BANNER or buy $BANNER to get exposure to the whole category.
SZNouns
We are excited to announce SZNouns (pronounced “Season Nouns”). SZNouns is a Nounish derivative project with seasonal minting cadence and circle glasses ◐-◐¬, made by the SZNS team for the community.
Why did we launch a pfp (profile picture) project? We wanted to experiment in governance and CC0. Governance is key for DAOs, so it is important that we actively experiment in governance. Nouns is an innovative protocol that combines daily pfp auctions with governance (forked from Compound’s governance). So it seemed perfect to build a Nounish project that is “seasoned” (pun intended) with elements of SZNS—both visually with circle glasses made from the SZNS logo ◐ and technically by eventually fractionalizing Nouns in a SZNS collection.
SZNouns already has a collaboration with DinyNouns, another Nounish derivative project!

New Team Members
We welcome new members to our team:
Peter joined our engineering team. He has 5+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer developing solutions for major banks and FinTech institutions. Fun fact: Peter was in a collegiate a cappella group that sang for former US President Barrack Obama. They also featured in the movie, Pitch Perfect, and the TV series, The Office.
Kal (aka kloo) joined full time! Kal studied design at RISD and has spent the last year building an NFT marketplace at Candy Digital, which produces NFT products for major IPs like Major League Baseball and Netflix! He is an active member of the CloneX community.
Harang (aka prsn) joined as a contractor for the content and marketing team. He just defended his PhD in neuroscience at UPenn and is now researching web3 at MIT Sloan. He loves Nouns, Punkscapes, Axie, and Cyberkongz.
